Spring Meeting attendees are mostly home now, a bit tired but with mighty broad grins! It was a delightful weekend. Excellent birding (183 species at the count early this afternoon), really great trip leaders who'd scouted their areas well, and a fine speaker, Thom Boves. Thanks to all the Burroughs Audubon Society folks who worked so hard to pull off a great meeting. They even managed to hold off the rain until late Sunday morning. A special thanks to Elizabeth Stoakes and the committee who who were gracious hosts. How they managed to import that Eurasian Wigeon remains a mystery to all but the inner circle! Thanks to all the K.C. area people who helped in many ways, Edge Wade Columbia, MO [log in to unmask] ------------------------------------------------------------ The Audubon Society of Missouri's Wild Bird Discussion Forum ASM Website: http://mobirds.org/
