I went to the marsh area late morning to release a Virginia Rail that Wild Bird Rehabilitation was caring for.  I crossed paths with Ann Kirkpatrick and Connie Allwood and together we walked to the marsh.  We had a wonderful time and these are some of the birds seen along the way and at the marsh.

American Woodcock-6 flushed
Northern Bobwhite-10 flushed
Soras
American Bitterns-4
Common Yellowthroat
Swamp Sparrows-many with one singing
Warbling Vireo-several
Palm Warbler
Green Heron
Pied-billed Grebes-calling
Solitary Sandpiper
Tree Swallows-many
Barn Swallows-mixed in
Eastern Bluebird
Turkey
