A solitary singing Blue-headed Vireo showed up after lunch today for this year's
species #62 for me. Yellow-rumped warblers were abundant and chasing each
other. The Red-shouldered hawks made many appearances today, hunting in the
woodland and in the garden areas. Phoebes, Blue-gray gnatcatchers and Ruby-
crowned kinglets were also noisily busy.
