I had a couple of hours free Friday morning to go to Otter Slough. The highlight was a lone American Pipit bobbing its tail at the southwest edge of Cypress Lake.

I counted as many as eight bald eagles at a time, all of them immature congregated around the limited areas of open water in Cypress Lake.

Other sightings on CACHE.
