Larry:  Below is the only winter record that I could find from northern Missouri
since R & E was published; and as you can see it was considered a very late fall
migrant (pre Dec. 15).  There are many for the Columbia area since R & E, but
that is now considered central.

Dec. 11, 2006 - Very late fall record (1); St. Joseph, Buchanan Co.; Jack
Hilsabeck; 20th Annual MBRC Report, 2006-82.

So, congratulations on your find.  Hope this helps.

Subject: Josh Uffman's Email Address

I seem to have misplaced Josh Uffman's email address. Could someone please send
it to me? I am want to find out about recent sighting(s) of CHIPPING SPARROWS in
Missouri in the winter season (especially in the northern part of the state). In
Robbin's and Easterla's Book the only reported CHSP in northern MO was pre 1987,
by Floyd Lawhon. The latest Annotated Checklist of Missouri Birds shows:

____ 361. Chipping Sparrow   SR c; WR r (s), ca (n & c)
