Among the female Red Winged Blackbirds at the feeder is one with a  
striking pink throat.  Field guides mention an occasional pink wash,  
but I've never noticed it before, and this exceeds what I'd call a  
wash.   I'm wondering if it's a genetic variation, or related to diet.
