Last Saturday evening Dave Henness lead a
field trip up to Shawnee Trail C.A. and
Dave
said they observed about six
Short-eared Owls there on the south
road.
That is the same road that the lake is on.
STCA is in Barton County and just south
of
Prairie State Park. Nice place to bird day or
evening.
