Just got back home from visiting Lake Rememberance here in Blue Springs, MO. There are still 20 swans swimming around the open water of the lake. 18 are Trumpeter Swans and 2 are Tundra Swans. I sat and watched a lot of the geese take off, presumably for feeding purposes. Ducks are in small numbers with these species noted: Mallard, Goldeneye, Bufflehead, Hooded Merganser, Canvasback, Gadwall. Also, there were a couple of Coots mixed in with the rest of the bunch. Surprisingly, there is still a lot of open water. The swans seemed to be very content and were just sorta of "hanging around". List will be added to the CACHE database later this afternoon.
