On Wed. January 19, 2011, two Lesser Black-backed Gulls were in with several hundred ring-billed and herring gulls in a small cluster of gulls a few hundred yards off the dam at Long Branch Lake near Macon. One was a second cycle bird and the other a definitive basic bird.  Also had in the Macon and Thomas Hill area on several gravel roads about 60 Lapland Longspurs, 3 Hooded Mergansers, 75 Brown-headed Cowbirds, one Harris’s Sparrow, 5 Savannah Sparrows, 9 Cedar Waxwings, one Red-headed Woodpecker, and one Swamp Sparrow.
