Golden-crowned sparrow showed up about 11 a.m. and again around noon. Saw the spotted Towee up to about 10:30 a.m., but may have missed him later while looking for the sparrow. Steve Dilks said he has counted as many as 100 purple finches in his backyard. I'd guess there were at least 50 there this morning.
