Frankie Cuculich and I drove down to Linn, MO and saw the golden-crowned sparrow @ 9am and soon added the spotted towhee.
Coming back west on Hwy 50 we had a rough-legged hawk about 5 mi west of Linn. Afterwards we drove down to Binder lake and refound the LONG-TAILED DUCK along with gadwalls, canvasbacks, lesser scoups, and ring-necked ducks. There is a small patch of open water and the best viewing is from bthe dam area. Be aware that the road along the SW side of the lake is closed. Now onto Long Branch.
