During a flight to Washington State last year, I had a conversation with two guys in the MNPLS airport who had a terrible experience with bedbugs in a major chain motel in Cinncinatti, Ohio. From what I've heard, they are worse in certain parts of the US than others. They have become such a problem that there are several internet sites which have bedbug infestation guides to the states.
