Do CEDAR WAXWINGS which have gone through their prebasic molt (3-4 months after hatching) have the plumage of adult Cedar Waxwings, sans the red-tipped secondaries?

In other words are these birds "hatchlings", adults or just referred to as "first year birds, as in Sibley's "big book")? Then there are in addition to the "first fall" molt the "first winter" and "first summer" molts. So, how does one sort all this out?
