This morning there were 3 Red-breasted Nuthatches in the pines next to the parking lot at Camp Sherwood in Cuivre River SP.   There were also numerous Ruby-crowned Kinglets throughout the trails.  There seems to be an unusually large number of both of these species on the east side of Missouri this fall.
