Shorebird habitat all around. Decent numbers spread throughout this area.
Nothing remarkable that we could find shorebird wise.

Highlights:
- Firma Road (off of Hwy 79)
3 SANDHILL CRANES - flew in from the north low over the road
and headed off to some duck club pool on Peruque Creek Road.
Did not relocate them.
No telling what might drop in here.

- Hwy B/Hayford rd.
2 LEAST TERNS flying over flooded field.
Lots of ducks and waders with a few shorebirds here.

- Hwy H
Lots of ducks gathering in pools along Hwy H and Mertz road.
Gadwall, shovelers, mallards, wood ducks galore.

Side note:
RMBS - water seems to be going up as mudflats are disappearing.
Lots of gulls, Caspian terns, Ring-billed gulls.
one PEREGRINE on top of the Clark Bridge.

Good birding,
Charlene and Jim Malone
St. L co.
