Below is correspondence from Matt Bowyer regarding a report of a male Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.

If you enter through the main entrance off Hwy 51 (on the east side) at HQ building, drive west on blacktop road toward the big lake. The blacktop will change to gravel. Follow this until you cross a bridge (the big lake will be in view to the west of the bridge). This area is where the bird has been seen and was previously observed here with a female early this summer.

Good Luck - Good Birding!

After about a 4 week layoff, the male scissor-tail flycatcher was spotted back at Duck Creek CA again this afternoon. His return coincides with a major hatch of dragonflies on Pool 1. He was spotted at the same spot as before, Where you cross the bridge to Pool 1 on the east side of the pool.
