As much time as I spend out-of-doors in the field, berry picking, fishing, scouting, birding, etc, etc, I'll have to give it a try; although, conversely, the little time I spend at home coupled with carrying mouthwash in my vehicle (even if for parasite prevention), I'm a little concerned that my wife may begin to think I have a lady friend *wink*! ha-ha!

 

Thanks for the idea! I will have to try it!

Chris and Mobirders - 
I have used mouthwash as a tick and
chigger deterrent for a couple of summers now.  Great success! 
Try it.  Environmentally safe too as far as I know.
I have a spray plastic bottle in the trunk that I carry all of the time.
