The White Ibis was present on the north side of Mitchie
Road this morning.  It was first noted in flight at 9:45 - it
circled the area several times and then landed in a
grassy area at the water's edge near several Little Blue
Herons.  I returned to the area at 11:00 and the bird
was still present.  Sometimes it is out of view behind the
tall grass so some patience may be required.
There were at least 4 Black-necked Stilts in the
water area along the levee south of Mitchie Road.
