I went to see if I could find the Moorhen located nearby earlier this week.Could not find it [just 3 Mallards and a Coot]but there were a pair of Blue Grosbeaks not more than 30' in front of the shelter itself, on the wetland side.This was another lifer for me[sort of] as up until today I had only ever seen 2 brown Grosbeaks the females, never male.
