Yesterday afternoon the Gaddy Garden was Fox Sparrow Central with over a dozen birds feeding hungrily there in the grass.  Also present were a Hermit Thrush, Brown Thrasher, E Towhee, Brown Creepers, White-breasted Nuthatches, White-throated Sparrows, Cooper's Hawk, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Grackles.  There were big mixed blackbird flocks away from the road including Brown-headed Cowbirds and a number of Rusties in fall/winter plumage up close in the ditch.
