Lester,

I had the same question asked of me recently and I must say that I could not give an answer either. The problem I have run up against is that no one has been able to answer the question. Therefore, how did the migratory bird counts get started in the first place? And further, where does all of the generated data that is collected on these counts go?

Is there anyone who can answer the question of who is the sponsor of the North American Migratory Count?
