Seems that even a small body of open water has birds...
 
Spent a little time at Little Prairie Lake this morning--
 
canvasbacks
red heads
ring necks
scaup (too far away to tell if lesser or greater)
 
These were all on the northern side of the lake, best seen from the parking area by the restrooms.
 
Also went yesterday about noon--the ruddy ducks, buffleheads and common golden eyes that were there yesterday were not to be found this morning.
