More about the adult ICELAND
From the parking lot I saw an adult gull flying that had mostly white
wingtips (I was also looking through
a dirty, funky windshield of the van)
Dan got on it right away with a scope and thought it was an Iceland.
The folks that were dressed warmer than I went back down to the end of
the rock jetty to try to re-find the bird. It was not long before all the
waterfowl and gulls took off before
it could be confirmed.
Dan will be going out in the AM to look for it again I am sure.

For those trying to get 100 for the month:
Keith McMullen said there were Waxwings at South Shores - bumpy section of
the road as one is going to
Hickory Hollow/Crappie Cove. Waxwings do seem to be seen by many this month.

A Barred Owl vocalized as we ere looking at the gulls.

Stayed late to try to find Short-eared Owls on Flatbranch and Ringer with no
luck.
Just raised the suspicions of the residents in the area.
No calls from the Sheriff's Office..........yet.
