This morning there were at least 24 American Pipits on the dikes of the Carl Junction lagoons.  One walked out on the ice
and flew back to shore joining the others. 
Mallards and Gadwalls were the only ducks.  They were all in a
spillway of open water. 
Ten or 12 Killdeer and the one crippled Canada Goose that has been there for several years rounded out the "waterfowl."
