There are indeed peregrines that nested and raised young on the tall buildings
at Barnes Jewish Hospital complex in St. Louis this year, and prior years.
Occasionally, I see the female (I call her Jazzy) soaring. However, I was
amazed last week to see her hunt as a brown blur took a pigeon with an
explosion of feathers. I had coincidentally turned to look out my lab window
that faces one side of the CAM building. It was very dramatic.

It would be great if the juvies moved elsewhere closeby to grow up and raise
more young.

I understand that peregrines may be taken off the endagered list soon.
