Among the gulls at Long Branch Lake, Macon Co, there were several hundred Ring-bills and Franklin’s gulls, one Herring Gull, and one Common Tern.  The tern was trying to sit on the metal roof on the floating dock by the jetty near the boat launching marina.   Also, a spotted sandpiper was at the shore near the parking lot on the southwestern side of Thomas Hill Lake, access on CR 1180 off of highway 3.
