After seeing Char's email I was out of here in a flash. Pulled up to Heron Pond and the five Ibis were right in front .... until a Northern Harrier came by and spooked everything. They stayed in the pond area though and many more stopped by to see them. No one could come up with a conclusive ID though, White-faced or Glossy. Most leaning toward Whit-faced. huge crop to help with ID http://www.photosbyat.com/photos/683783409_w264L-XL.jpg http://www.photosbyat.com/photos/683789888_nZowc-L.jpg http://www.photosbyat.com/photos/683794148_Wtdz2-L.jpg link to gallery http://www.photosbyat.com/Birds/Birding-2009-October/2009-10-17-RMBS Al Smith Bridgeton, St. Louis County http://www.photosbyat.com http://MoBirds.smugmug.com (admin) ------------------------------------------------------------ The Audubon Society of Missouri's Wild Bird Discussion Forum List archives: https://po.missouri.edu/archives/mobirds-l.html
