I had 5 Scissor-tailed Flycatchers sitting on a wire at the corner of Route
V and 7 Highway!  I thought for sure they had moved on because I hadn't seen
them for a while.  But, there they were last night!  They are so beautiful.
One of them had a shorter tail than the others - probably an immature
growing his tail out.

I also was lucky enough to see a very beautiful Scissor-Tail this afternoon.
It 
was on "J" highway between Peculiar, Missouri and Raymore, Missouri. It had 
been several weeks since my list sighting in this area.
