will have a
Butterfly Field Trip - Saturday, Sept 12 
Patty Schulenberg, butterfly enthusiast, will lead a field trip to her butterfly raising operation and garden in Savannah, Missouri.  She has been profiled in the St.Joseph News-Press' Josephine magazine for her work raising Monarch butterflies, cecropia and Luna moths, and tagging adults.  The founder of Monarch Watch, Dr. Chip Taylor, says it would take 400 to 600 acres to produce the  200-300 monarchs she raises each year.  She also gives butterfly programs for students at the school where she is a speech therapist
Free and open to the public. Tell your friends about this opportunity and invite their children to attend.
