Well, almost another early record! Just saw this post while still looking at Birds of Missouri, Robbins and Easterla - Early date listed for Savannah Sparrow - 1, 29 August 1971 Squaw Creek NWR. Maybe have to start looking for returning Sparrows as well as Warblers?
