ILLINOIS BIRDS
FYI

Charlene Malone
St. Louis co.

BTW, Did NOT re-find the SWALLOW-TAILED KITE but found an UPLAND SANDPIPER
at the Steppig Road sod fields.
There were LOTS of birds to go through, found the Upland right off the road.
Had to go on as we did not have time, we were in Kite search mode.
Came back too late to find 20+ Killdeer only.

Hi all,

Bill Rudden photographed a bird yesterday in Madison County that looks
rather
good for a LITTLE STINT (although, telling Little from Red-necked Stint in
this
plumage can be very difficult).
