St. Louis birders, See IL listserve on www.birdingonthe.net or www.ilbirds.com for info/directions and updates on the MOTTLED DUCK found at Kidd Lake, Monroe co, ILLINOIS. There's lots of shorebirds here and the BROWN PELICAN continues. Also heard of LEAST BITTERNS and COMMON MOORHENS being seen as well but might have to get closer to see/hear. NO ibises were seen, but seems to be a prime area to attract such vagrants. BTW, Two Rivers NWR (Calhoun co.) also has shorebird habitat at the end of the "volcano".
