There were 5 Greater White-fronted Geese at the Ellington Sewage treatment facility today, Reynolds CO.

As we were driving by, something looked amiss. They were on the grass where a settling ponds is not far off the highway. There were other white "farm" geese there; although they were on the other side of the property - no intermingling.

The GWFG seemed to be of pure blood - based solely upon their plumage.

Just odd that they'd still be here to celebrate the nation's b-day with us!

Good Birding!
