Despite the tremendous commotion of the new building being constructed near their nest site, and a new walkway connecting the buildings within a few yards of the nest, the WU Medical Ctr peregrines have successfully fledged two young ones (I think) this year.  They are currently perched safely above the fray on Barnes Jewish Hospital, and are being tended by the adult male.   They just finished eating a prey item (one of them taking the lion’s share), and are now flattened out on a ledge, napping.  Amazing how adapted these birds are to city life!
