Made my first visit to the previously described spot for the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. I spent over an hour trying to locate it, without luck. Checked all the fields around the old nest tree, behind Target, the condos, and across the road. I searched from about 6:30 until just before sunset.

Other birds seen included:

Sedge Wren- 5 or 6
Common Yellowthroat
Female Baltimore Oriole
Great Crested Flycatcher
Northern Mockingbird
Red-winged Blackbird
Blue Jay
Green Heron
Killdeer
Spotted Sandpiper
American Robin- feeding young in large brush pile
Great Blue Heron
Red-tailed Hawk
Field Sparrow
Song Sparrow
American Goldfinch

Hopefully tomorrow will yield better results!
