Hi Tom (and Mo-birders):
Georgia and I checked for the Forktailed Flycatcher between 6:30 and 7:30 PM Thursday evening. Guess we just missed you. It was No-show for us also. We enjoyed great looks Tuesday, with weather and light being excellent. I hoped it would stay around until Larry L. returned but it must have had other plans.
We did get the Grasshopper Sparrow and the 20 or more Cattle Egrets circling and finally landing in the willows out in center of Horseshoe lake was a great site.

later,

I looked for the fork-tailed flycatcher where it was seen earlier this week
between 5:25 and 6:25 p.m. this evening (Thursday) but was unable to relocate
it.
