A Black Vulture was seen at least twice flying over the World Bird
Sanctuary and Chubb Trail area this morning by 4 observers. This area is west of
Hwy 44 and Hwy 141 in West St. Louis County. It probably could have also
been seen from the Castlewood SP boat ramp area.

Other birds in the area this morning: Veery, Blue-winged and
Golden-winged Warblers, Scarlet Tanager, American Redstarts, Blackpoll Warbler, and
many Swainson Thrushes.

Also heard that Common Nighthawks can now be seen over the big AMOCO sign
at Skinker & Clayton Rds. in St. Louis City.
