To echo Jim's comments, Babler is indeed an under-appreciated, under-birded park.  It is also a "target" park, that is, one to focus some attention on, for this year's agreement between DNR and ASM.

Spring sighting lists from Babler are very much needed to help fill the gaps in the checklist and get a fuller understanding of occurrence in this park.

Please consider submitting a list from this trip and any other outings to Babler to the SPARKS database on the ASM website, www.mobirds.org

Note:  The website is moving hosts this weekend.  It may be up and running Monday night, but probably safest to wait to enter your much needed data on Tuesday or later.

Thanks, and Bodacious Birding to all,

Hello MOBIRDERS,

St. Louis Audubon Society is offering a birding trip this Saturday to

Babler State park in West St. Louis county. This location is very

under-appreciated as a vantage point from which to watch Spring

migration.
