Happy Friday the 13th!

Just wanted to let folks know that several bird species have recently appeared on Eagle Bluffs.  In addition to the assortment of waterfowl mentioned earlier this week, scaup, blue-winged teal, hooded mergansers, and even larger numbers of green-winged teal have made an appearance.  Pelicans arrived overnight and 20+ trumpeter swans were in pool 2.  There have been a couple species of shorebirds already; a Wilson’s snipe was observed in pool 15 and a number of killdeer have been around the area this week.
