We had a couple of people really canvas that area hard during the Jeff City CBC, didn't see
the bird!
I'll try and get to that area on Sunday & check it out.

> Five birders watched the area of the intersection of Rt. Y and
> Rangeline in southern Boone Co. yesterday, hoping to see the Northern
> Shrike. The shrike was a no-show. Instead, a Northern Mockingbird
> graced the area, including perching on the power line above the cedar
> tree near the 2nd pole to the south of the intersection.
>
> While there, we were greeted by a fellow who reported seeing a
> Greater Roadrunner on January 15 on Rt. C, in a rock cut west of
> Country Club Drive, in Cole County. This is the same vicinity one
> was reported seen last month.
>
> Hey, Barb Duncan, isn't this your neck of the woods?
