Took the family for a ride today and observed "unusual for us" gulls at Long Branch. Four immature and three adult Herring Gulls were present near the dam and at the marina... There was a small cluster of gulls that had one darkly marked adult bird, but it was sleeping and never moved. Interesting bird, but not cooperative for us! Met Peter Kondrashov going the "other way" across the dam. Perhaps he had better luck!

Details in CACHE and SPARKS later...
