One adult and one juvenile B.L. Kittiwake have appeared at the Saylorville 
reservoir, north of Des Moinces. Also a Snow Bunting.

Keep your eyes open.

(The only Kittiwake I have seen at Smithville Lake came into the roost a 
half hour before dusk 11/26/95 and was gone the next day. A lake seems to 
need a fairly sizeable outlet channel to hold such gulls, and Smithville 
Lake lacks one. Best chance to see one at Smithville: Watch the evening
