Quick post.

PLEASE NOTE: Birds viewed FROM ROAD because you can NO LONGER walk on the
levee road.
ONLY view birds from road per landowners request/rules. Birders on the levee
are scaring away the ducks.
I saw the ducks fly when the landowners were running around on their ATV in
the marsh, when semi-close gunfire went off or the Peregrine flew by
MULTIPLE times.

Hayford Rd, St. Chas co, MO
NO Red Knot
5-6 HUDSONIAN GODWITS (clearly saw white rump, black tail, white wing bar as
they flew in and landed but lost them as soon as they landed in the marsh)
2 B-N Stilts
one B-B Plover
one LEAST TERN
one Wilson's Phalarope
Heard lots of Short-billed Dow.
Black and Caspian Tern

BTW, the RMBS HUDSONIAN GODWITS that were flushed did fly into MO air space.

Later,
Charlene Malone
St. Louis co.
