Hello All...

Good news - If you have not seen the Farmington
BROAD-TAILED HUMMINGBIRD yet. Well, Bill Reeves just
called and wanted to make sure I got the word out that
the bird is still present as of Sunday, June 15. The
bird was observed and heard early this AM (~6:15), and
seen last today flying by and wing-whistling at about
7PM. So, it does seem a bit more leary today than it
was yesteray - but it is still around.

Here are the directions again:
Take Hwy 67 south toward Farmington, go 3 miles
past the Hwy W exit to Hildebrecht Road (which is on
the right). Take Hildebrecht Road right from Hwy 67.
Go about a 1/4 mile and turn left into Winchester
Hills Subdivision. Follow up a hill past Wild Horse
Drive (less than a 1/2 mile). Bill's house is the
second house on the right, past Wild Horse Drive. The
address is 20 Winchester Road. Pull down the driveway
and watch the feeder on the deck, which is the one it
seems to be coming to most. No need to make
reservations or call before coming.
