Frank Holmes found 3 Least terns last week.  I'm wondering with the sandbars all under-water if these terns are nesting on a slag spoil in the steel mill.
   
  Cloud cover provides better light at HS Lake, when searching for terns from the north end.
  Here on remnant duck blind #5 a Black tern (R) with Forester's tern:

  That was unfulfilling.  A front rolled by bringing on/off rain:
