A friend of mine says he watched a Summer Tanager
kill and eat a hummingbird. He photographed the orgy and the bird was so
intent on eating that it allowed him to get very close. He says now that
he sees that tanager chasing hummingbirds. I was surprised. He says
he'll send me the picture.
