A couple of good yard birds this week: On Tuesday had a singing Cape May,
and late afternoon Thursday had a very cooperative, singing bay-breasted, a
new yard bird for us.

To add to the cannibalistic behavior discussion, I was in Boston on
Wednesday, and on the way to the airport observed a large, dark-mantled gull
(I assume a greater black-backed) with a pigeon (road-kill, I assume) in its
beak.
