Burroughs Audubon completed our annual migratory bird census along the Blue
River, south of Red Bridge Road in Kansas City. Kansas City Wildlands
received a grant for restoration of this riparian forest. The census we
concluded is part of the requirements for that grant.

Thirteen birders started, and eleven birders completed, the two mile plus
hike. (OK, it took 3 1/2 hours and two people left early.) We had 74
species including 5 vireos and 19 warblers. Thanks to everyone who helped.
It is a significant contribution to the restoration of this area.

The list is below. If you participated and see I need to correct the list,
please let me know.
