At Columbia Bottoms this evening (6 May), saw the E. Bluebirds near the front gate, and some back by the slough. Baltimore orioles all along the path between the slough parking lot and the confluence overlook. There were shorebirds in the ponds & puddles along both sides of the gravel road: l. yellowlegs and possibly least(?) were only ones i could see well enough. Also some blue-winged teal, same ponds.
Note of caution -- on the way out, i saw motion out in the field, stopped to check it out. It was a herd of deer -- stopped counting around 30, and i know there were more. Couple of evenings earlier, saw a flock of about 20 nearby. So if you're there around dusk, keep an eye out -- even low speed car/deer collisions can be dangerous.
