Maybe think there was some leg-pulling involved on the part of the 
hunter?.........naaaah. ;-)
His entertainment for the day at the expense of what he saw as a "city 
(In all fairness, birder was not from the area so did not know about what is 
seen and not seen down here.)
Bobcats yes are seen. I and others have seen live and dead ones on both 
sides of the River.
Mountain Lions......a big resounding NO.

 Hoped that St. L birders also read about the flooding conditions, 
shorebirds and the lack of warblers in that area.
There were certainly warblers seen closer to the St. L area, so don't know 
what was going on up there.

Gotta''s migration. Better things to do than e-mail!!. ;-)
